X-Message-Number: 9375 Date: Mon, 30 Mar 1998 13:06:15 -0700 (MST) From: Fred Chamberlain <> Subject: Cheap Air Fares and Alcor Conference Date: 3/30/98 From: Linda Chamberlain () Subj: Cheap Air Fares and Alcor Conference A registrant at this years conference (Alcor's Third Annual Cryonics Conference) who is coming from New York, found they could save $800 per round trip by flying into Tucson and taking a shuttle to the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. This may be useful information for others who might have found the cost of attending was prohibitive: air fare: 1-800-Fly Cheap shuttle: 1-800-888-2749 or 602-795-6771 in Tucson For (just one more time) information about the conference, see below: *** Just Confirmed! Max More, President of the Extropy Institute, will be participating in two key panels at the conference. In the first panel, to be chaired by Marvin Minsky at the Saturday Evening Banquet ("What's in it for me?") the basic question is, "Why should *you* want to be there in the future, both near term and indefinitely thereafter?" The next morning, Max will be one of the panelists in a session led by James Halperin on "Identity and Reanimation" *** Below you will find registration information and an updated schedule. This Conference is almost certain *not* to remain an annual event. This might be your last chance to attend a large scale, national cryonics conference before the year 2000 or 2001. The info below is updated as of 3/19/98, and is the most reliable data on the program and how to register.
