Subject: Peter Merel's Confusion

Peter Merel quotes material from CryoCare's
web site, which he correctly says is out of date, and says
he is still confused about the roles that various companies
are going to play in the cryonics movement.

I believe my previous post on the subject was
clear, but perhaps it wasn't.

        Again. 21st Century Medicine (21CM) is a
research company.

        BioPreservation (BioP) offers cryopreservation
services. In about 11 months, BioP will no longer be responsible
for any organization's cryonics services, although its staff will be
available to some degree to consult on human cases.

BioTransport is a new company now being formed to
offer cryopreservation services. The intent of BioTransport is to
make these services available to all cryonics organizations.

That's the plan in a nutshell. However, things are
currently in flux, and it's not yet clear how things will be sorted
out in the coming year.

        Stay tuned.
