Arguments of the form "No one would ever want to do X" are simply not admissible in reasoned discourse. Even to *think* that one knows what *no one* would ever want is as shortsighted as thinking that one knows what *everyone* would want. If cryonicists persist in ignoring the frightening scenarios because "our descendants could never do that to us," we deserve whatever happens to us.
