Hi B.F.,

I just want to personally thank you for being so rational about the
possibility of increase in price re: cryonics. Most people are not so. I
believe a $100,000 life insurance policy for a neuro at CryoCare which
costs (at the moment) $58,500 makes a lot of sense. And unless one is
elderly or has health problems, it is also quite attainable at a reasonable

We can never, or at least, should never be dependent upon others to "take
care of us or our costs". This was a lesson learned from bitter experience
decades ago. Better to be safe than nonexistant. After all, you want your
cryonics care provider to be able to keep its head above water. Unrealistic
expectations can be a killer. Anything can happen, (even altruism, I'm
happy to say) but personally I don't want my life to depend upon it. We
call those prices "minimums" for a reason, though most people ignore this.
The silly thing is that often a much larger insurance policy costs very
little more than a small one.
