It seems some cryonics organization have done some suspensions at no cost or nearly so. I understand that can't be a general case and such operation must not get too much information in the general population. On the other side, if that is a possibility, why not give a fixed sum, for example $100000 in swap at a research organization, INC or other? Well, I am not signed up for financial reasons I have not the money now and here, in France, life insurance for "such a fraudulent activity" is not possible. I have invested in real estate and now on the stock market to have the sum. I could have invested in the Prometheus Project because it would have sold share of recognized value at least in the cryonics domain. Simple donations don't fit the bill. On the other hand, if there was a possibility to buy something with the same function as a share, but limited at trade in the cryonics domain that would be interesting. So, assume for example INC receives an authorization to ""sell" what I call swap ( nothing in common with existing market swaps) we could do what would be a donation in the non cryonics world and get a swap, that is a money limited in its extend to buying cryonics service. The price of 2 or 3 suspensions/ year would do an enormous difference for the research. Are there anybody (outside me) interested in that scheme? Is it possible? If not why? Can CI or Alcor for example give a suspension free each year? The price would be invested in resarches they do not control? Yvan Bozzonetti.
