Depends on the drug -- probably higher with newer ones whose manufacturers
still have them under patent and are trying to recoup R&D costs.
Anyhow, I got this nifty gizmo from my local drug store for less than $10
that can both split and grind pills. 1/8 may be too fine a split, so maybe
after 1/2 or 1/4 you can grind the pieces and mix them into juice that you
drink the appropriate fraction of (depending how stable the pills are in
juices). Or if they're oil-soluble, maybe you could mix them with olive oil
for putting on bread. I hope they don't taste too nasty.
