   I have been invited to make a presentation about 
cryonics at the Philadelphia Science Fiction convention 
this coming weekend (December 12-14)

     I would not have accepted the invitation were it 
not for the fact that it has given me an excuse to visit 
Philadelphia, which I have not seen for a long time. My
presentation is scheduled for 11am Saturday morning
in competition with about 8 other interesting-looking
panels that would tempt me if no one showed-up for mine.
The description I submitted for my presentation was 
not included in the program. Nonetheless, Keith Lynch
said he is planning to come hear me, so I may find 
myself preaching to the converted -- and an audience 
of one. 

    I was also stuck on a Nanotechnology panel for 
10am Sunday, which may give me an opportunity to vent
some of my frustations. The full program is available
