    Mike Donahue makes an excellent suggestion. There are many factors out
of the control of Alcor that may interfere with a Standby and Transport. 

Technology is available to all cryonicists that will help improve their
chances of receiving a better cryopreservation.  Technology such as the
medical alert devices Mike describes can significantly shorten unattended
cardiac arrest and may even prevent an autopsy.

    I think this is important enough that Alcor should investigate the
possibility of helping members obtain such devices as well as helping
members locate a monitoring service for the purpose of providing
around-the-clock assistance if needed.
