Subject: 218'th update on fly longevity experiments

     This is the 218'th update of my fly longevity experiments. Average
 temperature was 23.4 C during this run. Estimated maximal longevity using
 the formula (363 - T*11.2) is 100 days.
     Fumaric acid offered some benefit at the day 58 census, even at a
 dosage that was apparently toxic to early survival. Fumaric acid is
 slated for further testing.
