Subject: first test posting....

	Hello People,

	This is both a test to see if this email makes it to the list, and
	to ask if there are other cryonics lists or forums that I can
	join.  I'm aging fast!

	I began a forum-type app here several years ago--around the time
	I started a distance-learning course in philosophy.   I got caught
	between a quarter or semester essay and keeping up the forum.
	My course-work won  and, after some hardware problems, the forum
	died.

	I am *still* working on my philosophy--maybe another 12 to 15
	months.   Unless I get a "NO-PASS" on Chapter-2!  Otherwise,
	it's time to re-start my involvement with cryonics.  

	I'm working on a number of essays to be added to those I've
	already written.  (These are on http://transfinite.thought.org
	for anyone who is interested.)  Also, I have a lot of pragmatic
	things to ponder, to discuss.  Be great if some fellow computer
	geek already has a forum or whatever.  If not, this time I'm
	ready to devote the time and energy to putting up another forum 
	here.
