I haven't been keeping up with those groups lately, so you might
have already done so...

[ Brent, thanks for the suggestions.  I also sent messages to the LiberNet
  and Extropians mailing lists (because they seemed to be the best targeted
  groups) but not to any USENET news groups.  Messages to these other
  news groups will need to be written somewhat differently because those
  audiences don't share the same "meme complexes" as these three mailing
  lists.  I just spoke with Bill Faloon of The Life Extension Foundation
  to verify some information (next message) and will work on a posting for
  sci.med and/or talk.politics.drugs.  (I do not have access to alt.drugs.)
  Note: I do not want to keep sending so many of these FDA/politics/etc.
  messages to the cryonics mailing list because I think that the focus
  of the list should remain more firmly on cryonics.  Nevertheless, more
  news of this issue seems likely to arise, in particular if Kent and Faloon
  get thrown in jail in October.  What should we do?  Spin off a (temporary?)
  cryopolitics mailing list that periodically reports back to the cryonics
  mailing list?  Batch the cryopolitics messages and periodically issue a
  strictly cryopolitics digest to the cryonics mailing list?  Am I making
  too big a deal about this? - KQB ]
